Re: Things in the pipeline to consider...
- About multiple opponents... currently, you get 2 parries a turn,
meaning even against two people of a skill near your own, you can do
well. Some thoughts about this: Do we even WANT it fixed, for one?
It seems to work as a fixed value. However....
If it is fixed, should I just give a penalty for fighting multiple
opponent, a-la flanking in D&D, or should I reduce the parries per turn
to 1 by default, without Techniques?
Perhaps 1 by default and +1 for every 3 or 4 skill points (rounded
down? up?) in the applicable skill? For normally skilled characters
(ie, 3 to 7 points) that would be the same as it is now, while highly
skilled characters (like, say, Anthony and Victor) would get an extra
boost for being so leet.
As for the name, well, I've never really been that great at coming up
with names. Perhaps 'War of the Crimson Mask??' Or 'Soluma Eternus?'
:) Or perhaps 'Greyish-black Flower-like Thing-a-ma-jig.'
'Gaia Eternus?'
'Good Gaia??'
'Good Grief???'
'1001 ways to slice up/knock out Anthony Lynch????'
And before I make plans for Saturday - are you (Andrew) still planning
on being up here this weekend?? I seem to recall you mentioning that a
few weeks ago.
'till later.....
