Hullo, all.
Amazing as it might seem, I am still working on the Rulebook. And in
my rather critical going over, I've noticed a few things and made some
changes. I'd like some input.
Firstly, Bypass for Armor: The existing form is... well... a bit
overpowered to make heavy armor almost useless. In addition, it's
never used. So... should I just remove it? This will require some
minor revisions to the Pierce Armor Techniques, but I have some new
changes in mind that will probably help to compensate.
Secondly, I'm adding the Reach rules as optional, but I've also put in
a Size Attribute. This is 0 for most characters, and -1 for trolls.
This allows me to have big huge creatures with Wound Thresholds that
are high, but Endurance values that are sane enough that they can FAIL
an Endurance check. I'm sure everyone likes that ;)
Third and finally for this email, I know JR and possibly Lee and
Debbie will both kill me for this... but I'm seriously considering a
major revision to the magic system. The new system will probably be
easier to understand in a lot of ways, but converting characters will
be a pain. Just a heads up.
