This Focal Skill is included when the starting point or starting conditions of a spell are different from the norm. This is one of the more unusual Focal Skills, but a useful one, at times.
Level 1: The spell may come into existence at its target point, as long as it is within Range, and thus cannot be Parried or Blocked. Dodging is at a -2 penalty to the roll(for an Active Dodge) or to the value of the Passive Defense. This also bypasses any cover modifications or obstacles.
Level 2: The spell may lay dormant until a trigger condition is achieved, or may be ``tagged'' onto an object(or person, if combined with Target). A spell can lay dormant for a number of days equal to the caster's Will Scale. This may be ``renewed'' with Maintain. The caster recovers Backlash from other spells normally, but may not recover the Backlash caused by the dormant spell until it is activated.
Level 3: As Level 2, but a ``tagged'' person may control the spell upon activation. A ``tagged'' object may be used by a person in the same way. The spell uses the Attributes of the person who activated it for all Range, Damage, etc. calculations.
